Black & Beyond the Binary Collective builds leadership, healing, and safety for Black-African transgender, queer, nonbinary, Two-Spirit, intersex, and asexual (TQN2SIA+) Oregonians. Our mission is to create a future that empowers our communities, celebrates self-expression, and preserves the dignity and joy of Black-African TQN2SIA+ individuals living fully liberated lives.

In Oregon, we stand alone as the first ever nonprofit organization that fiercely leads and is dedicated to the lives of Black-African TQN2SIA+ people. We have proudly provided over $1 million in housing support, directly addressing the immediate needs of our community through essential services in housing, healing, and connection. Every team member, participant, and board member plays a vital role in our strategy and is uniquely qualified to deliver culturally resonant services.

We are deeply connected to a powerful network of local and national change-makers – trainers, healers, artists, and policymakers – all united in the fight for transformative justice. In a time when anti-trans legislation is sweeping the nation, we are rooted in our power and refuse to back down, united as a force of change that will not be silenced or diminished!

Join us in empowering Black-African TQN2SIA+ Oregonians to lead, heal, and thrive. Your gift fuels our commitment to immediate community needs and transformative programming that nurtures self-expression and dignity. Together, let’s ensure a vibrant, liberated future for our communities! With your support, we will decolonize our hearts and communities, ensuring the sustainability of vital programs that uplift Black-African TQN2SIA+ Oregonians and the broader Brown, Indigenous, and disabled TQN2SIA+ communities.
